Leadership & Service
At Bedford Stuyvesant New Beginnings Charter School (BSNBCS), the Student Government Association (SGA) is a vital leadership body that empowers students to take initiative, represent their peers, and lead with purpose. Through structured opportunities for civic engagement and service, SGA helps students develop into confident, responsible, and compassionate leaders both inside and outside the school community. BSNBCS empowers student voices, supports community engagement, and builds leadership skills through service and advocacy. SGA members lead by example—representing scholar concerns, supporting school events, and participating in meaningful community service.
