Enrichment at Bedford Stuyvesant New Beginnings Charter School
Our Enrichment program is designed to inspire creativity, skill development, and self-expression. Each class offers a unique opportunity for students to explore and grow in the arts as well as in physical education:
- Music: Students develop their voices, learn guitar fundamentals, and build drumming and percussion skills.
- Dance: Students learn foundational techniques in jazz, swing, and hip-hop, cultivating rhythm and movement.
- Drama & Theater Arts: Hands-on experiences include scriptwriting and technical skills such as set, costume, lighting, and sound design.
- Visual Art: Students explore and recreate works by notable artists who reflect their cultural and ethnic heritage, deepening both artistic skills and cultural appreciation.
