Middle School at BSNBCS
Our Middle School Program serves students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade.
This program prepares our students for high school and supports them through their pre-teen years. We offer them opportunities to be involved in competitive group sports, public and community service, journalism, artistic expression, to develop personal interests, and to engage in rich cultural experiences.
A Student-Centered Approach
Our Middle School is a perfect balance of support and independence for our growing students.
Each week they have advisory sessions with our Student Support Team to be supported in areas such as goal setting, conflict resolution, time management strategies, peer relationships, etc. Our Student Support Team also collaborates with teachers to offer supportive conversations around local and global events affecting their community like vaping and local activism.

Academics & Enrichment
Each student has classes in Math, Reading, Writing, Science, Social Studies, as well as enrichment blocks such as Music and Health & Wellness. For 8th Grade students, our Middle School also offers Regents-level courses in Living Environment and Algebra I.
Beyond the Classroom
Middle School programming offers not only many opportunities for academic achievement and support, but also after school clubs, leadership programs, and interest-based field trips so that students have real world experiences before continuing their educational journeys in high school.
